The table reproduces or structures catalogue-level fields. It does not create an approved SKU, instruction or specification where the source record does not provide one.
03 · External reference context
Ingredient and dosage-form background
Salbutamol, called albuterol in the United States, is a short-acting bronchodilator that relaxes airway smooth muscle. Oral and inhaled presentations have materially different delivery characteristics and are not interchangeable by volume or stated strength. Inhaled formulations are used in respiratory treatment plans; an oral syrup should not be portrayed as an equivalent rescue inhaler. This ingredient profile does not constitute an approved Luang Pharma respiratory indication.
Clinical context and therapeutic role
Respiratory symptoms require a diagnosis and a written plan appropriate to asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or another condition. Bronchodilation can relieve narrowing of the airways, but salbutamol does not replace anti-inflammatory treatment when that is needed. Increasing reliance on a reliever or decreasing benefit can signal deterioration. Severe breathlessness, inability to speak normally, bluish coloration or exhaustion needs urgent care rather than repeated unsupervised use.
Selected safety context
Tremor, headache, palpitations and a faster heartbeat may occur. Excess exposure can cause dangerous heart rhythm problems and low potassium. Worsening wheeze immediately after inhalation may represent paradoxical bronchospasm and needs urgent review. Heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes and interacting medicines should be considered. The prescribed device or formulation and its instructions must be followed. An oral product should never be substituted into a nebulizer or inhaler.
Selected external context only. It is not a complete risk profile or Luang Pharma approved labelling. The exact authorised IFU/label and applicable professional guidance control product use.
Formulation, presentation and handling evidence
The catalogue uses the term nebulizer solution. The actual physical form, concentration, fill volume and compatible nebulizer system require confirmation from authorized information. Some medicines in this class are supplied as suspensions, so that distinction must be resolved. Inhalation products are not for injection or swallowing.
Use only the specified compatible nebulizer and follow cleaning and single-use instructions where applicable. Do not mix with other medicines or diluents unless compatibility is explicitly established. Storage and any period after opening an ampoule must come from the exact supplied product.
Final instructions, storage conditions, shelf life and any after-opening/in-use limits require the exact controlled product documentation; none is created from a comparator reference.
Points for professional review
A respiratory-care professional should verify the diagnosis, inhaled-versus-oral role, exact device and technique where applicable. The patient requires a clear plan for worsening symptoms, with regular review of control and adverse effects.
