Where the company stands today
Luang Pharma is establishing a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Boten Economic Zone, Lao PDR. The company is not yet manufacturing, holds no manufacturing licence, and none of its portfolio lines are registered or available for supply.
Planned positions
Around 50 positions are planned across manufacturing, quality control, equipment maintenance and administrative support. Recruitment will begin ahead of commissioning once the facility build programme has reached the training phase.
Training before commissioning
Every Lao employee is to receive one to three months of systematic training before commissioning, covering GMP practice, equipment operation, production safety, position SOPs and record keeping.
University collaboration and talent development
The team maintains long-term collaboration with Peking University and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. The agreed areas include joint talent development alongside advanced research and process work.
